Our kitchen faucet had been dripping for months. I didn’t want to call a plumber for just that ($$), and I was intimidated to fix it because I’ve never tried one of these new-fangled cartridge type faucets.
In fact, I didn’t even know it was called a cartridge faucet until I got fed up one morning and looked it up on this new ‘internet’ thing.
Anyhoo, after two quick web pages and partly watching a couple of videos I was able to disassemble it and head to the hardware store. I even corrected the employee who tried to sell me raised replacement cartridge instead of the flat one. Sheesh, kids today.
It went back together super easy, and presto! No more strategically placing a dish at a slant in the sink to minimize the drip drip noise.
Chagrined I didn’t do it sooner, but glad it’s fixed.
