The long and short of it

Lee’s been digging through our masses of old photos (as in, printed on paper) recently. There are some of us, but really not that many. We took some of our own, but it looks like we mostly pointed the camera away from ourselves. In our early days together, we went a few times to Olan Mills or Sears because they offered portrait package specials. See above, with our nearly-matching, nearly-white, nearly-turtleneck sweaters.

And on me at least, a ‘normal’ amount of hair. Lee’s has often been longer:

She also found photographic evidence of the two ends of my haircut spectrum (even if one is disguised by a hat).

In both cases, all I can say now is “What was I thinking??”
