I first heard about the rock snake in Millwater via Facebook some time ago. And I even tried to find it once before, but I was on the wrong part of the trail.

This time, we were heading in that general direction to look at Christmas lights. I searched for the elusive snake and found clearer directions, so we stopped there en route to the lighted up street.

A short walk from the road, we found it! Hundreds and hundreds of painted rocks! What a fun (if slightly Truman Show / Stepford) thing for everybody to do!

There was a real range of artistic talent on display.
