
Two pretty flowering plants here. The purple ones are agapanthus. I’ve written about them before. They were widely planted around Auckland in years past. They look good and do a great job stabilizing steep banks. But they do spread a little more aggressively than most people might like.
And behind them are some tall spikes of bear’s britches. Same story.
I don’t think we’re going to try and rip these out, but we will cut them back before they go to seed.
