I’ve actually taken this picture before… and thought I’d posted it… but now I can’t find it so who knows.

Anyway, I like the way this person thinks. They live only a block from the boat ramp, so they had no choice but to buy a boat. The trailer doesn’t quite fit in the yard, so they cut a hole in the gate. Problem solved.

I would have had to agonize over that decision for a while. And I couldn’t be trusted to keep the same boat forever, meaning more gate surgery would be required at some point. In other words, if this were my house, it would be a tiny little stressor. But now I can just walk by sometimes and smile, and tip my imaginary hat.
