The APEC meeting I was attending last week (actually a workshop on the periphery of the APEC meeting) was held at the Songdo Convensia, above.

Huge! In most respects it was just like any other convention venue. But it sure seemed ginormous.

I really appreciated the directness of these ginormous statues… no beating around the bush with complicated symbolism here. We are marching into the future with pride and purpose.
