China now joins Japan and Brunei and Iceland on the list of countries where I’ve been only to the airport.

It was eerily quiet when I got there a little before 5 AM. But the lounge was already open and soon enough breakfast appeared. It was all familiar enough food, although I didn’t actually try the little packet of chili pickled bamboo shoots.

Next stop, Seoul!
