
Over the past few days the city has been fixing the seawall near the boat ramp on the beach. The most mundane kind of maintenance project.
But as a metal detectorist, it’s hugely exciting. People with coins and jewelry have been visiting this beach for about 120 years. Digging up the deep sand brings more of the (shocking number of) things they’ve lost within reach of my gadget and camp shovel. To be continued…
