Yesterday we went to the nearby Estuary Arts Centre for a show of local artists, proceeds from sales benefiting the local Hospice care charity.

There were a lot of nice pictures, although none we felt compelled to buy.

Trees and birds feature and beachy landscapes.

The abstract is by a pétanque friend.
Since we didn’t find a picture to buy, we decided to go to the Hospice thrift store and support the cause the way we usually do.

They had a nice display for King’s Birthday, which we celebrate with a long weekend. I bought a sweater, so we did get to make a contribution to their cause!
