The Christmas cactus is enjoying its new home under the cherry tree, and getting ready to bloom for the first time this year.

And… finally… the lemons are starting to turn yellow. I was worried that there was some problem, since we went through a long dry spell followed by downpours. But I’ve looked at other people’s trees, and I guess we’re about on track.

Two good things about the otherwise dismal prospect of shorter and shorter days as we head into winter.
