Our friends Brian and Emily just bought their own little slice of heaven outside of Dunedin. They’ve got a 100-year old house to keep busy with, and acres of paddock and bush to also keep busy with.

A previous owner built a bunch of mountain bike trails that need a little maintenance now but give them access to the wooded areas.

We have fond memories of our own foray into rural life in Fulton, MO. Including heating with wood… a lot of work but very satisfying.

Although we certainly don’t regret our time in Missouri, we weren’t really cut out for that life, for a bunch of reasons. Brian and Emily have a lot of skills going in, and they definitely picked a great spot.

We can’t wait to see all their plans come to fruition!
