Oamaru

Monday morning we headed south from Geraldine. First stop Oamaru. It’s famous for its many Victorian era limestone buildings.

We browsed through the op shops and found a cool Temuka stoneware decanter set for Emily and Brian.

This isn’t my picture, but the decanter we bought looked just like it.

The downtown was really neat, lots and lots of those limestone buildings! But it was raining and we were on a bit of a schedule so we didn’t stay all that long. Would be fun to spend a sunny day looking around.
